Simultaneously light yet earthy, with soft flavors of mushroom and red fruits. Enjoyable, food friendly. — 6 years ago

My favorite rosé — 4 years ago
Slightly chewy tannins but otherwise smooth with notes of pepper, black plum, and dark cherry. A lovely marriage of syrah and grenache. Splendid for a meal pairing or on its own. — 4 years ago
Was good but nothing memorable. Was not as sweet so that was great — 5 years ago

Great sauv blanc. Beguiling honeysuckle and green tropical fruit, pear, kiwi. Very generous, comparatively round and textured for Sancerre but still high acid. This will age well.
Unsurprisingly, even better on day 2. A riot of fruit aroma.

Great vintage for this. Super stoney nose. So so stoney. Smoke. Some red berry fruit. But so stoney. Gorgeous balance and so so juicy with that stoniness coming through with huge tannins that are so velvety. Pure. Juicy. Gorgeously defines red berry fruit. Amazing inner mouth aromas. Awesome freshness and acidity. Long. Amazing wine. What an estate. By far the best Cahors. Ripe vintages key here. This is superb. — 6 years ago

Delicious and tangy tart Tannat in its first blush of youth -tense blackberries meets sour cherries, chewy tannins and cheek tongue gently texture. — 10 years ago

2011. Sort of a more austere cry Beaujolais: crushed rock and violets, just more rock and less fruit. — 12 years ago
Pinotman /// Andreas
Just OK on day one. After 2 days on my Argon line. Cardamom, Allspice, forest notes, tannins integrated, black tea, orange rind and dark cherries. I prefer the Suchots from the same vintage. Over all i don’t think that Pascal Marchand did a good job in 2010. I am surprised that he did not better with Grand Cru fruit in a good vintage. May be picked too early? 13% . — 3 years ago
