Wow. Fantasy bottle. — a month ago
Impressive for its focus and presentation. Green Apple and grapefruit on the nose and palate. Clean and laser-focused with lychee on the back end. Super summer’s day sipper. Tilting sweet. First time trying this producer. Was not aware that NY was producing wines of this quality. — a month ago
Fresh, fruity and juicy, with sweetness balanced by acidity. Low alcohol and quaffable, perfect for a warm day. Pairs exceptionally well with corned beef and cabbage. Nice find at Costco. 2023 vintage. — 2 months ago
Delicious. Lemon lime, stone fruits, minerals with great acidity and balance. Simply very tasty and great value at $26. Want to get more to see how it ages — a month ago
Very well balanced semi-dry. Has the zesty, moderate acidity of a dry Riesling to show off minerally and lime zest notes. Finishes sweet without being cloying. — 2 months ago
The nose was a bit closed at first but is now opening up with chalk and lovely lemon curd and lemon zest notes as the wine slowly warms up in the glass. There is also a light floral touch too along with some fresh white grape.
This is very inviting. The palate is superb with a superlative acid backbone, some delicious lemon curd and zesty notes all along, some chalky mouthfeel that changes in the rear with a bit of grip, before a long, fresh and tangy finish with lemon curd and that zesty twist that makes you reach for the bottle for a second glass right after the first one. This is unmistakably a German Riesling Kabinett, and a great example at that!
Edit : now that the wine has warmed up in the glass, notes of fresh white peach and roasted pineapple with honey are popping up in the nose. Delicious! — 3 months ago
