2015 young but delicious. Les Clos is outstanding in this great vintage. — 8 years ago
bought on release and stored by me since, I have ignored this bottle for years, fearing premox. Now, if opened and dead, it's oxidation, not premox! No worry--it is gorgeous mature white Burgundy, drinking at peak. La Moutonne is a monopole mostly in Vaudésir, a little in Preuses.
Lemon zest, honey on nose and palate, the mouthfeel is smooth and round, very soft in texture while delivering very driven and intense Chardonnay flavors. I get no chalk or oyster shell, little minerality, and I don't think Chablis, but it is a lovely wine nonetheless. — 9 years ago
Beautiful lemon tinged colour showing some development. Bright lifted crisp aromatic bouquet, with notes of iodine and white flowers; lovely full palette, quite textured on entry, more mid palate weight than I'd expected, even a bit generous. A lovely stylish wine with time in hand, I prefer a little bit more minerality and less plumpness, the latter presumably a result of the oxidative handling (oak treatment) — 10 years ago
Subtle and lovely, it displays nice and clean aromas of red berry fruit, mushroom and moss as well as wet leaves. Pronounced Italian Balsamic vinegar and cinnamon, standing and great depth. Round and full of flavors, long finish. 92 points. — 11 years ago
second chablis from a zoom blind tasting with a friend preparing for a test.
a little better than the last one.
high acidity.
medium - body
citrusy. salty.
i was even guessing oak 🙈 as its so balanced.
paired lovely with quarantine McDonald's kids had for lunch (not so good food which was no surprise), orange soup (mainly sweet potato with chopped fresh green onion) and leek cutlet with pepper sauce.
no wonder chablis is so big in israel and the whole world. simple, tasty and satisfying. especially for it's price. stating the obvious, but still.
excellent vfm (70 nis). — 4 years ago
Still young but very drinkable Meursault @ £53 that’s one of my favourites at this price point 😉 If you like it more tart/sour now is great but leave 5yrs if you want it to ease 👍

Выпито 21.11.20 в ресторане Reef под лобстера и кальмара. Очень необычное шардоне 2015 года. Немножко кислотное, но очень нежное. Мое. — 4 years ago
Very floral and fruity, bright red fruits (raspberry, sour and sweet cherries, a little plum) and a variety of flowers. Long finish and a great look at what Volnay is all about...pretty steep price tag though — 6 years ago
Been waiting to open this for a while. Got our wedding pics today so it seems about right. Still crisp and so balanced and smooth. — 7 years ago
High flavor and intensity. Long thick chewy acids. The wine pops and spins in the mouth. Lime. Pie crust. Individual components are there just needs time to focus all the parts. — 9 years ago
