Paying more attention to vintage w Bdx these days, 2012 Graves showing very well right now with enough punch to go longer. — 9 days ago

Blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc with 5% Semillon and 5% Sauvignon Gris, aged 50% new oak. Medium lemon color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits, citrus and blossom with spicy notes. On the palate flavors of peach, pear and pineapple with slight citrus and honeysuckle adding pepper spice. Long finish, balanced acidity, ending with a fruit, oak and chalky mineral spice character. Very good! Will age well! — 5 days ago
Zeer lekkere wijn, mooie afdronk, niet bombastisch of explosief.

I think this is peaking. From a marginal year but really nice. Lots of cedar and a little roasted peanut note augmenting some nice, mellow cassis fruit on the nose. A big whack of intense flavors on initial entry, with tannins still there but softening. A teensy bit drying on the finish, but damn this is nice with grilled butterflied leg of lamb with garlic and rosemary. — a month ago
Black fruit and newer oak aromas, black fruit flavors, stone, graphite licorice, hefty tannins, med++ body. Pretty big w/ 14.5 alc. mostly Merlot with some Cabernet. Drink or hold. — 16 days ago
Continues to drink better with more age. Very nicely balanced at present. For my taste, why let any other bottles sit longer? — 7 days ago

This is the ideal personification of Vouvray. The nose is alive with green apple, pear, white flowers, lime zest, mineral and chalk. The mouthfeel is dry, focused and vibrant with sharp acidity, a crystalline texture, and layers of citrus and saline notes that linger. Great in its youth with great aging potential. — 14 days ago
