Another solid vintage of this consistently good Provence Rose’. This vintage’s blend is Grenache (50%), Cinsault (30%) and Syrah (20%). Light pink in color with some lavender highlights. Fruit forward aromas of strawberry, watermelon, red flowers and lemon zest. Same fruity flavors with additional notes of peach, orange, and minerals. Touch of white pepper on the tart finish. Crisp, refreshing and clean with a faint hint of sweetness. Nice balance of acidity and alcohol (12.5%). Thanks for sharing, Chris B! Revisited in June 2025. Still fresh and bright. — 4 months ago

Great red fruit notes on both the nose and palate/retro nasal. — 2 months ago
I was going through my La Chapelle section today and my eyes got stuck on this 1999 - bottle looked absolutely pristine and I decided it was a perfect age to drink. Cork was in great condition and the wine was powerful and youthful with no signs of oxidation. Could have kept the bottle for a few more years, but it was probably perfect today. All the complex leathery earthy goodness you expect from this wine was there. — 3 months ago
Calon’s third, but still very classic left bank! Bramble berries, cedar, a hint of graphite. Right in the sweet spot! — 4 months ago
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Nice nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Showing red fruits with light oak, licorice and chocolate notes.
Nice length on the finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a very tasty 5 year old GSM blend from Lirac. Nicely balanced and elegant, with mild complexity. The high alcohol is well integrated by now.
Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine.
A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Aged in concrete tanks and 15% large French oak barrels.
15.5% alcohol by volume.

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Pretty nose with black fruits, cedar, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco, chocolates and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, licorice, dark chocolates, light earth, coffee, herbs and peppercorn.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious Grenache blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Fruit forward and easy drinking. Nicely balanced and interesting. Rich, yet elegant.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.
Still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but already very approachable. The high alcohol is well integrated.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. Has good potential to become a 94 point wine.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food.
A blend of 75% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre, 3% Counoise and 2% Vaccarese. Aged in (20% new) large French oak barrels.
15.5% alcohol by volume.
