Eclat De Calcaire Bourgogne Chardonnay 2018

Beautiful stil and now entering a new phase. Enough stuffing to carry this wine some more years. Some hay and honey nectar start to emerge. — 5 days ago

Echezeaux Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2006

Wow, a 15-year-old burgundy from an esteemed winery. Complements of my friend Mark. Truly a treat. And just amazing that it drank so well after these many years. That’s why some wines remain a mystical and magical beverage. — 2 months ago

Les Vieilles Vignes Chassagne-Montrachet Chardonnay 2022

2022 vintage. Not quite as integrated as the same vintage Meursault VV offering. This has more overt focus on citrus fruit currently. Feel like this wine just needs 6 months to tie up some loose ends and then it'll be a no-brainer. That citrus fruit will still feature, just not as prominently. 05.23.25. — a month ago

Olsen Brothers Vineyard Syrah 2016

Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of black and blue fruit, violets, roasted meat, spices, wet stones and tobacco. Flavors of blackberry, blueberry, black raspberry, roasted herbs, black pepper and black olives. Long and savory finish. Complex and very “Northern Rhône-like.” Full bodied, lively and just the right amount of tannin. Excellent! — a month ago

Wallufer Walkenberg Spätlese Riesling 2021

A mammoth, chiseled beast of a wine that really needs extensive decanting and/or aging. Despite a modest decant, imagine am tasting a tease of its true potential. — a month ago
