Star bright pale gold with green highlights. Abundant and inviting nose of citrus rind and mineral. Medium bodied palate yields lemon rind, cement, and lily bud. High acidity entry to finish. Austria’s signature variety from Austria’s premier wine region gives its best showing in this bottle. Pair with practically any white wine food, including (famously) asparagus or Brussels sprouts. Drink now through 2029. — 3 years ago

Purchased at the winery during visit in 2015. Wine is classified as Federspiel (between 11.5% and 12.5% ABV), which generally connotes wines that are dry, medium bodied and well balanced. Smoke and mineral notes on the nose. Grapefruit, peach and apricot fruit, with stone, petrol and racy acidity. — a year ago
Excellent for the price. Fruity and light tannins. Paired excellently with pork and spicy food. — 3 years ago

Wonderful perfectly balanced rose — 6 years ago
A fresh, fruity nose with notes of lemon, grapefruit and pineapple and mango. On the palate the wine is light, crisp and very dry. Juicy flavors of lemon fill the palate with refreshing stone notes and lush, bright acidity. The finish is long and crisp. A perfect afternoon sipper. — 7 years ago

Our 2019 edition had Chremisa in large letters on the bottle and it was fabulous. It was different than any Gruner we’ve had. — 3 years ago

Don’t drink enough Austrian Riesling - probably because I don’t see it very often. This was dazzling w/greenish hue to a pale straw color w/vivid lemon & lime fruit & their blossoms, and tons of slate & stones. Palate was laser focused, nervy acidity, polished presentation, refreshing bracing and a sweet spot of fruit from the nose before ending bone dry. I might buy a few to lay down — 9 months ago
