Have we no wine? WSET 3 with Merit
2020 vintage is a simple quaffable light Sicilian red, with a smidge of gun powder on the nose. Not nearly as funky as his other releases, nor as complex. Tart. Worth a chill. — a year ago
Sadness for the 2019 vintage, even given the cost-effective Costco pickup. Tart, tannic... muted berry notes, just not good. Skip this vintage. — 2 years ago
Ripe yellow peach and apple notes, backed with mineral and herbal notes. Flawless production... if you don't like this producer's Vernaccia, you can probably pass on many Tuscan whites. — 3 years ago
Standard old-school Barolo... some of that large format cellar oak smell. The 2018 isn't overly noteworthy. — a year ago
As others have mentioned, the Montefico is among the richer Barbaresco's from PdB. The 2017 can age longer than the '15s and '16s. Still tight... better after an hour, but hold if you can. Delicious! — 2 years ago

Love this Bojo... perhaps it was the time in bottle, but I'd like to think it's just another lovely softer Saint-Amour. This is cherry pie vino, lovely fruit-forward and bright for sure, but less of the grippy mineral notes of Brouilly and the nearby granite-driven communes. Easy drinking, great with spicy food... will buy again. — a year ago
Nice find at Costco at a great price. But, this 2019 is overly grippy and has slightly burnt notes that prevents me from buying again. The 2020 Kirkland Barolo is less expensive and tastes better (unlike the lackluster 2019 release). Aging is a possibility, but this one might not do better with time. Perhaps an off bottle? — a year ago
2018 is relatively ripe, with some odd stemmy notes. Uni-directional... could use some white in the blend. — 2 years ago

Perfect right bank, Merlot dominant. Yes, a baby... but with an hour or two of air and the right food, really lovely. — a year ago
