Lemon custard and apple and minerality — 5 years ago
Winner. Lemon zest and just a hint of custard. Good minerality. — 5 years ago
The man (David) on the right, opened up his home and cellar to a pee-on like me. One of my fave chards was pulled for shits and giggles. If you have never tried this, please do. Uncommon notes of caramel, custard and subtle oak. The palate displays immense depth and clarity. Super weightless finish of honied almonds, kissed by white peach. Utterly sublime. — 6 years ago
NYE wine 2017/2018! Beautiful Custard & Biscotti aromatics, medium-weight, Zippy acidity... Fun! — 6 years ago
From the always reliable producer. A little too young but showing strong notes of new oak, along with lemon curd, vanilla custard, citrus fruits and lemon peel — 7 years ago
Bright lemon custard, fresh herbs and lychee fruit fan out across the palate, ample rich and still quite young. This wine has many years of good drinking in front of it. — 4 years ago
Quince, bruised pear, lemon oil, gardenias, brioche, custard, saline, honeysuckle, sea shells. Vibrant sharp acidity, rich medium body, compact bubbles, long floral-slightly tropical crisp finish. Terroir focused, corpulent with grace, rustic charm behind its obvious elegance. — 6 years ago
Remarkable aged Muscadet. Gun metal, peach, meyer lemon, vanilla custard, white flowers and brine. Very balanced with integrated minerals. Long finish. — 7 years ago
Toasty, custard, smoked pear, sugared grapefruit, green apple skin, accented by a string of minerality. This jumps out of the glass. Mouthcoating with rich, layered green apple, pear, and lime zest flavors. Asian spices pop with time. Balance is impeccable. Acid is still impressive, with length and evolution to finish. Wow! Paired with smoked salmon over a cream based pasta. — 4 years ago
Excellent bottle as there has been some bottle variance. This one still bright, clean minerally palate with lemon custard finish, citrus marmalade...no signs of tiring yet! :) — 5 years ago
Intense, lemony, custard, rich — 6 years ago

Very good. Not as lean as I remembered savagnins being in the past. This one has fat lemon cream custard flavors, some honey with a long finish and some good tannins. The aromas are lemons, red apple flesh, toast, iodine, clear water minerals and fresh herbs like maybe dill. A bit flabbier than I’d like it to be, but I’m happy. — 4 years ago
