Pale gold color in glass. Yeasty notes up front that dissipate with bubbles, light citrus, soft green apple and wet stone on the nose. Palate is delightful, prominent salted lemon peel at the forefront, green apple, precisely balanced acidity and dosage. Sometimes there’s no substitute for quality #grandcruchampagne — 7 months ago
You know you are drinking $400 plus a bottle Grand Cru Burgundy with the first sip. Is it worth it? If you have the money sure but, think you can find very good and near same quality for less money.
Another gorgeous 22. I know someone who has been going to Burgundy as a professional for 40 years that compared the 22 vintage to 59 and that is a huge statement that has the potential in time to prove itself out.
It is magic with the first sip. Perfect ripe and round. It is lush; Granny Smith apples, lime flesh w/ zest, lemon meringue, pineapple, green melon and white stone fruits. Honeysuckle, caramel, white cream froth, sea fossils & spray, beautiful chalky powder, limestone powder, biscuit, just a hint of mint leaf, field of spring flowers, yellow lilies framed in jasmine, perfect rainfall acidity and a round, elegant, lush, well balanced, well knitted finish that lasts minutes and fall on powdery mineral & white spice. — 8 months ago

Dark golden in color with a brownish hue.
Light nose and very dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing lemons, apples, spices, light over ripen citrus fruits, earth, light wood, herbs, light vegetables and white pepper.
Short finish with limes and bitter herbs.
This 28 year old is a little past its prime, but still drinkable and interesting.
I had higher expectations, but at this age, it really depends on the individual bottle. That said, I still enjoyed it.
Needed 30 minutes to open up properly.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.
100% Chardonnay grapes were aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Very rich and robust shows a little heat from the riper vintage . Very good not profound . — 2 years ago
Browning on the edges, but youthful with a long drinking window in every other way. A beautiful nose gives way to black cherry, spices and a smooth finish. The tannins are well integrated, but it got better as the night went on. A world class Burgundy — 4 months ago
Lovely nose of ripe pear, honey, cake frosting. Pretty easy to sip - round, toasty, decent acidity, slight pleasant bitterness, fresh enough but age showing nicely. — 5 months ago
