Blend is actually 50% Cinsault, 35% Syrah and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Very dark inky ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of black and blue berry fruit, violets and tobacco. The rich palate features flavors of cooked black cherry, blueberry and black berry/currant fruit with notes of sweet spices and black pepper. Long and lingering finish and a lovely soft/silky texture. No sign of oak aging. Acidity is plentiful but well balanced. Quite fresh and bright! Solid QPR. — 10 months ago

The V.2021 Titus Cab Sauv was crafted with an impressive precision to deliver a lush-styled Napa floor wine. Composed of 80% Cab Sauv, 7.5% Malbec, 7% Merlot, and 5.5%% Petit Verdot. Now the real magic and how luscious the wine is, can be partly thanks to the Barrel Aging that the wine underwent for 20 months in 50% New French & Hungarian Oak.

This wine is very harmonic from the “get go”, it over-delivers many enticing notes of baked dark cherry, compote of berries, and the herbaceous swirling as you sniff around, it is pretty fantastic. The gratitude of the wine is so gentle on the palate that the structured tannins, acidity, ripen berries and the velvety taste pushes the wine to dance in the mouth. The finish is heaven. Blend 95% Cabernet Sauv, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Merlot, splash Malbec and Petit Verdot, blended before being aged 24 months in American Oak, 50/50 new and second used. Deep Ruby color with aromas of black fruits, spice and hints of cedar. On the palate flavors of blackberry, raspberry and currants with licorice, cacao, vanilla and savory herbs. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and savory mineral character. Nice!

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Very fruity on the nose and full bodied with medium minus acidity.

Dry to off dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing black currants, blackberries, cooked plums, oak, vanilla, dried fruits, licorice, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices, light herbs and peppercorn.

Short finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 8 year old Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County is still drinking very nicely, but will not get better from this point.

Complex and easy drinking. Fruit forward with a touch of RS. Rich and extracted with a mouth coating feel.

A nice sipping wine.
