Purple in color with a wide purplish rim.
Fruity nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with red and black fruits, light oak, vanilla, earth, spices, licorice, herbs and peppercorn.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a tasty Bordeaux blend from Tuscany. Elegant and spicy.
Still young and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine. Will also pair nicely with dried meats.
A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 15% Petit Verdot. Aged in oak barrels for 14 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

This is excellent red that punches well above its weight. One note, but very enjoyable. Full bodied, sour cherries, with a satisfying tangy finish. Wonderful chilled. — 7 days ago
Super Tuscan at its peak, just beginning to show brickish color on the rim but intense ruby for the most part. The nose starts of with wet forest and red roses and opens to opulent dark berries then wet wood and even wet leather. Palate has persistent fruit throughout with hints of vanilla, polished tannins and bright acidity with a long balanced finish. — a month ago
Dark ruby. A hint of leather on the nose. Black currant, tobacco, and black pepper. Zero tannins. — 14 days ago
herbacious nose and mint and peach. Grows Near the sea. On the palate, minerality is strong, strong herbs, sea salt in finish. — a month ago

This wine is very dark in the glass, with almost no light getting through. The nose is full of blackberry, blueberry and plum, with savory notes of anise, black pepper, tobacco, tar and a hint of smoke joining the fruit. The palate has a savory bent as well, with spice and earth mixing in with the dark fruit flavors. The acidity is quite fresh and the tannins have a medium firm grip. I paired mine with slow cooker short ribs, and even used some in the recipe. Delicious. — 13 days ago
