Revisiting this once bringing a few bottles home from the winery. Pale straw coloration. On the nose, ripe peach, some pear and apple. On the palate, strong notes of peach and a very long finish minerality. Medium to fuller bodied with nice acidity. I thought Cantine Neri’s Orvieto Classico was fantastic but this white wine outdoes it in my opinion with its just a wonderful balance of acidity, robust body, minerality and fruit. — 10 months ago
Made by the son, much better than the fathers version

On nose, its warm and ripe fruits there, oak, black cherries, some white pepper. On palate, wine is medium bodied, fruit is still fresh despite of some aging, tannic at the end, and elevated acidity. This still need some time, try it after 2026 if you can hold it. Cheers! — 6 months ago
Revisiting this wine at home after tasting at the winery. Ruby coloration with some transparency. On the nose, cherry, red berries, currants, some earthiness and minerals. On the palate, medium, lighter body, cherry, red berry, cola, earthiness, minerality/graphite and strong and long finish of minerality and graphite. Good tannins present. A very different and surprising red. I didn’t expect to like it but it is a refreshing and very drinkable red on this hot summer day in Florida. — 10 months ago
