Blueberries, blackberries, black and red licorice, black tea, and a bit of compost pile. — 6 years ago
Ruby red with pink hue. Fresh muddled strawberry and raspberry with stem attached to it. Hint of bubble gum, mint and tarragon on the nose. Med plus to high acidity, mineral, dry with med to med plus tannin. A food rose to enjoy with Mexican food such as chicken and beef tacos. — 8 years ago
First of a few posts to come this evening. Out on a wine and steak adventure with 3 other old guys. This one a very good start, but a little past it's prime. Some of the fruit got lost. Should have drunk a couple of years ago. — 9 years ago

2012v. Petrol and wax on the nose. On the palette, there's a wash of sweet yellow apple and tangy lemon lime. Slight petrol on the finish but it's a clean ending. Slightly sweet, decent acidity, and a nice body in the mouth makes for a versatile and easy drinking wine. — 9 years ago

Fantastic Perrieres. Pale lemon color. Opulent nose of Meyer lemon, tropical notes, acacia, quince, saline mineral hints. Persistent acidity on the palate. Long finish. Good stuff. — 4 years ago

Astonishing Chardonnay. Very elegant and toasty. Gives me Meursault flashbacks. — 10 years ago
Sea salt, pretzel, dried yellow apples, and a pervasive linger. Firm acidity still lively and ready to go another 5 at least. From this, you can get the idea why quirky Oregon producers are itching to play with Melon. — 10 years ago

2001 vintage. Not decanted. Nice fill and cork. Youthful nose of eucalyptus/spearmint and orange peel. Medium-medium heavy body. Just so fresh. Tasted more like a 3-4 year old Burg instead of a 24 yo one. Excellent length of finish filled with sandalwood/tree bark, clove, cinnamon and raspberry. This specimen needed another 15-20 years to “grow up.” 05.28.25. — a year ago
