On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with hints of cacao, licorice and leather. Fine dusty tannins, good acidity, well balanced, ending with fruit and savory earthy mineral notes. Nice! Grab a Filet Mignon!

Tasty, but Heitz just isn’t my style, apparently. Didn’t see what the fuss was about with this offering, but likely just consumed it far too early/young.

Blue fruit, stone, berry, medium body with fine tannins, yet some acidity and a firm grip. Wouldn’t be a go-to at the price point.
