Just opened and poured and tasted, the bouquet was strong dark fruit with floral notes. Still a dark red with no visible signs of being 10 years old. Full mouth, delicious, really impressive again! — 5 months ago
A little caramel on the nose and the first part of taste was not much but opened up midpalate to finish with caramel and spices.
This was a half bottle that cost $13.79 back in the day. Had this with dessert at Le Virtú in Philly — 8 months ago
[9 hour decant] Stunning vintage port, great aromatics, very fine color, super nice balance between fruit and spirits, super long, lingering finish, great wine to celebrate having hot water again in our house (7 days to locate and have a new water heater installed), pretty much a PERFECT bottle of vintage port!! — 10 months ago
Ok could be better but nice for the price — 2 months ago
Gold in colour. Like… really really gold. A lot going on here. Stone fruit. Some oak. Buttery as well. Muito bom! — 3 months ago
Good not great. Spicy. Ridgewood wine store Portugal rec. very affordable. Headache inducing? Wouldn’t get again. — 5 months ago
Great taste, can feel the liquor, nice for a cold day — 6 months ago
50th wedding anniversary! Tasting great. I’m shocked at the cherry fruit that is still vibrant, a lot of raisin, wood, caramel, vanilla, tobacco leaf. So surprised at how good this is tasting — 2 months ago
My favorite wine.
Light, crisp, slightly effervescent, refreshing, short finish, thin body. Drinks like a glass of ice cold water on a hot day — 5 months ago
