On the palate, it's dry with high acidity, low tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of tart cherry, hibiscus, and wet slate with a medium finish. Never tasted this bottling before, I just hoped for a decent showing. Instead, it completely reshaped my view of Barbera.

Deep opaque garnet with a slight tawny rim. The nose is captivating with blackberry jam, fig, cedar, dry pine cone, worn leather, clove, and a hint of truffle. Seamless palate - full body with vibrant
acidity, supple tannins that still have firm grip, and a velvety texture. Long, elegant finish. Still has 5–8 graceful years ahead. By far the best Barbera I’ve tasted.

This is very elegant & harmonious.
Dark sour cherry with some crushed stone and a pinch of orange peel & herbs. Fresh. Juicy.
On the palate this is very smooth, juicy, with great flow and beautiful balance. The 14.5% alc perfectly integrated.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.

Showing raspberries, cherries, black plums, black currants, coffee, light oak and spices.

Medium finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is an elegant and very pleasant Nebbiolo from Piedmont.

Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime.

Still young and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.

Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine.

100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in used American and French oak barrels for 12 months.

14.5% alcohol by volume.
