A bit much. Not elegant but super intense and almost seemed young. Only 13% but felt like more. — a year ago

Parigi Nebbiolo d'Alba 2022

Reddish in color with a purplish hue.

Elegant nose and full bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.

Showing raspberries, cherries, black plums, black currants, coffee, light oak and spices.

Medium finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is an elegant and very pleasant Nebbiolo from Piedmont.

Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime.

Still young and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.

Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine.

100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in used American and French oak barrels for 12 months.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$30.

Vigna Scarrone Barbera d'Alba 2021

Vintage 2021 | dark colour, blackberry, plum, hint of violets. A rounded taste with spice. Beautiful balance. I like this wine that is a bit arrogant and playing hard to get. — 7 months ago

Tre Vigne Dolcetto d'Alba 2022

Some blackberry, Smokey notes, so soft in the mouth. Went very well with risotto and sausage. I have to think that’s the pairing in Piedmont for most people. The average Italian there ain’t drinking Barbaresco every night. — a year ago

Gallina Barbera d'Alba 2000

Never tasted this bottling before, I just hoped for a decent showing. Instead, it completely reshaped my view of Barbera.

Deep opaque garnet with a slight tawny rim. The nose is captivating with blackberry jam, fig, cedar, dry pine cone, worn leather, clove, and a hint of truffle. Seamless palate - full body with vibrant
acidity, supple tannins that still have firm grip, and a velvety texture. Long, elegant finish. Still has 5–8 graceful years ahead. By far the best Barbera I’ve tasted.

In Rhino I trust.
