With There’s Chris tasting menu at River Twice 1/3/26. Not particularly outstanding but decent enough pairings. Food was great. This dessert pairing didn’t quite work — 8 months ago
Good, flavorful rosé. A little body but still light — a year ago
Need more time in bottle - oak is slightly overpowering and unbalanced — 3 years ago
This wine is actually a 1er Cru Red Burgundy. Intense aromas of mushroom and clean freshly tilled earth. Dark cherry and raspberry fruit flavors with truffle notes and a nice “gamely” quality. Hint of mineral on the finish. Medium plus acidity. Deep red color. Barely translucent. Elegant! — 5 years ago

Brief notes, on the go. Bottle I gifted my good friend in Dijon a decade ago which was left to age in his underground cellar.
Nice notes of plum, black berry jam, cherry, raspberry, licorice, garigue, tapenade and also some lactic notes, almost yogurty. The palate jugs the tongue, the mouthfeel is soft and yogurty, there are tannins that are now gentle and well integrated. The finish is licorice, blackberry jam and yogurt forward. Delicious stuff, at its prime. Don't wait up too long... — 16 days ago
