Great autumn wine. Med body, nice texture, long slightly spicy finish — 4 years ago
The debut of this. 60% whole cluster. Wow. Red fruits. Earth, limestone. So complex. So earthy yet sweet. Red berries. insanely aromatic. Unreal concentration and purity. High class tannins. So sappy and pure. Amazing intensity. Sappy and juicy. Amazing length. Sick. Insane. Crazy inner mouth aromas. So so deep. Sweet fruit and tannins. Long and I mean long. — 4 years ago
Nose: sexy. Cherry lipstick. Dense. Quite penetrating. Earthiness. Insane sexy rich herbals. Almost like a red chartreuse.
Palate: dense. Purplish a bit. Darker fruits. Hints of cherry licorice. Almost like a very fresh pommard.
Long finish. So grippy. Amazing.
Hanspeter ziereisen made this in vintage. A sick wine for $100. This was much less. — 2 years ago
Dark ruby with some purple.
Dark fruit aromas
Surprising body for a German Pinot.

It seems to me that if you blended Weiss Burgunder and Grau Bergunder it would be similar to this.
Natural-esque - on the edge for my tolerance to natty-ness; earthy, mushroom, wet wood. 6 years might have been a wee long to wait. — 2 years ago
Always so good. Opulent and incisive. Deep nose. Lots of amplitude. Huge limestone. Herbal. So complex. German Chardonnay is so awesome. What a palate. Huge core of apple and pear fruit and stacked with minerals and a malo sweetness. So long and nimble. Gorgeous wine. Almost 9.5. — 3 years ago
