Baccabianca Monferrato White Blend

Ok, so like Michael said, there was this funky cheese whiff when we first opened it, but after some air (and a bottle of Ziereisen Lugle pinot blanc and conversation about pussy hat parades), this wine settled in as the perfect companion to our smitten kitchen one pan chicken tikka with potatoes and cauliflower. Nutty, mellow, nutmeg, and smooth tannins in a white whine ("orange wine" to be exact). Yum. Sad I only have the one more bottle...

Weird! More later! Volatile and citrus and vanilla and coconut. Soft texture, citrus, herbs. Weird wine. But balanced fresh and pure.
