Pale yellow in colour. A good combination of citrus and stonefruit on nose and palate. Slightly saline at the finish. This Chardonnay is a leading Australian Chardy made at their HQ in the Adelaide Hills. Barb and I first tried the 2019 at a structured tasting at the winery on 31/3/21. We were hugely impressed. This is my last bottle from the home cellar. I restock my cellar most vintages with the M3 Chardonnay. Their Chardonnay from the Lenswood Vineyard is also very good. — 8 days ago

It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Nose of sweet cherries, currants, blueberries, light cedar, earth, herbs, milk chocolates, tobacco leaf and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with sweet cherries, cooked plums, cedar, tobacco leaf, light earth, herbs and spices.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa valley. Elegant and easy drinking. Fruit forward and complex.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

I've had a few vintages of this wine and it is very consistent.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food.

A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc. Aged in (30% new) French oak barrels for 24 months.

14.5% alcohol by volume.
