65/18/15/2 blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsaut and Petit Sirah. Moderate to high pigment extraction, purple red. Aromas and flavors of black pepper and raspberry. Ever so slightly tart, moderate skin astringency on finish with spearmint and alcohol-forward bitterness. Will mellow with decanting. Good value with a screw cap thrown in, yes! Deep ruby colour with aromatic notes on nose with berry flavours with hints of chassis and tobacco on palate well balanced although still some acidity as under screw cap but sure to develop and mellow further.
