A Pét-Nat from Huet?! Aromas of apple cider, pineapple, quince, jasmine underpinned by lightly oxidative note. Creamy mousse, but faded rather quickly in the glass. Sharp acidity. Nice tug of war between sweetness and bitterness on the finish. — 7 months ago
The hype is real. Reduction on PnP with an energetic acid drive that kept building over an hour. Tropical fruits, herbs de Provence, oiled gears. Wow. — 9 months ago

Funky nose with hints of Jura-like oxidation, ripe pineapple, honey and orange blossom. Touch of sweetness up front and a long finish. — 9 years ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2018 “Brézé” pours a light straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing…maybe even youthful with notes of mostly tart orchard fruit: apple, pear, white flowers, lemon curd and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long with saline minerals that dazzle. Technically brilliant, I get the sense this needs time before it has more to share. Better after 2028 and drink through 2040+?

Aged 50% in stainless steel and 50% in old Burgundian barrels. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and herb notes. On the palate flavors of green apple, pear and lime citrus with notes of pepper and herb spice. Medium+ finish, chalky, vivid acidity and ends with mineral spice. Nice! — 6 months ago

What an amazing grape is Chenin Blanc. We had a delicious dry version from WA earlier in the week and now this gorgeous 39 year old Vouvray from the Loire Valley in half bottle. Not really sweet enough to be called a dessert style - spatlese at best. Mid to pale gold. Toasty notes with pear and mouldy apple. On the palate incredibly fresh and vibrant for its age. Notes of pineapple and a little acid to keep it going in the cellar if desired but hard to beat right now. A great accompaniment to foie gras. One of the 1001 Wines. A wonderful experience. — 9 months ago

See note from 2015 - this had more pronounced citrus & white flowers on the nose, still oily & viscous, some herbal on palate, citrus pith, tropical fruit, vaguely Condrieu-esque, fascinating wine, lovely expression of Chenin. Has stuffing for another 5 yrs. Sec Tendre — 4 months ago

Very clean, pure profile with a nice creamy texture by the semillon and acidity in balance. Not super expressive for the pedigree, maybe needs time — 3 months ago
