Starter to Cam’s arrival in DC at Le Dip. Incredible texture to the bubbles. Fell too on the crisply on the apple side for my taste — 2 years ago
N: Strawberries and peaches with some dirt. Shows best when it’s been out for a bit.
P: Nice bright and lip smacking, it hints at cherries. Very herbal, perfect with a blt and white bean/garlic scape dip.
With extended time out, this fills out, develops a cantaloupe rind quality. — 3 years ago
Grapefruit pith, wet stone, citrus. Served with smoked salmon dip. Would also be phenom with goat cheese. — 4 years ago
From Laithwaites. Definitely buy this again, it went really well with black pudding sausages 👌🏻 — 7 months ago
Delicious. Smoky but great fruit coming through. Drank at Le Dip in DC. — 2 years ago
On the nose, blackberry, violets, and grape Nerds... On the palate, this shows much more complexity... Again, I'm getting that grape Nerds or Fun Dip note... But with a rounded feel integrated with the alcohol and natural plum and cranberry... A short finish here... It's here, it's gone... On to the next sip... We're four years after the vintage and I feel this is one to drink up now as this integration feels fragile... — 3 years ago
Beach me up vibes all day baby. Smells like white peaches and clear skies and seashells. Zings on the tongue and you need that warming zing if like me you are gonna dip into the Pacific (soon I hope anyway I love the sea). The palate is chilled melon, gushing wet stone, and some sort of flower whose name I’ll never remember.
It’s terrible, I can name 7 synonyms for Tempranillo, but when it come to the rest of all botanica I can’t get it together.
Anyway. This finishes a with a hit of grapefruit flavor so from stone fruits to melon to citrus it runs the fruit gamut.
Gushing wet stone is the through-line. I don’t know if it has a dramatic arc but I don’t think it needs it. — 3 years ago
