3.2. A nice Rioja, but a little dull. Perhaps 2018 was not such a good year. On sale for ‘$18.99. — 3 months ago

Sight: Completely opaque, blood red, slight tawny. On nose: fruit forward, tobacco. On mouth: very smooth, full bodied, was difficult to taste fruits but strong oak and earthy presence. Might not have been at correct temperature. — 3 months ago
2015. Wasn’t sure what to pair with this delicious Filipino rice dish with longanisa, chicken, and cumin crab fat butter (likely a wide range of whites, rosés, and lighter reds would work well), but I wanted to try this Spanish Crianza and it was wonderful! The fruit flavors were enough to complement the sweet sausage and the smooth tannins cut through the richness without intensifying the spice. — 6 months ago
Costco rioja. Good. Would get again. Maybe not as good as some of the others but still good. Dry. A little fruity. — 7 months ago
Nice flavours of red berry and oak. — 10 months ago
At first we thought it was corked. After about an hour it started kicking off and probably with more time would even excel. Black and red cherry notes with earthy - leathery spices. Light, soft and balanced tannins. High rate for its age. — 8 years ago
This was firing on all cylinders tonight. Caught at a point v.s. my palate preferences. This still had fruit power but also polished, pleasantly drying tannins. It had a lot of spices braced by just the right amount of sweetness. Truly a joy to drink tonight. — 3 months ago
