Rich, honeyed, and intoxicating nose. Mott’s apple juice color. Broad on the palate with persimmon and canned peaches. Botrytis.
Air was kind. Have a few more ‘17, so will see how it develops.

2021 vintage. Pretty and floral in both the nose and the mouth with a cherry start and a strawberry finish. A bit of dirt/earth mid-palate to temporarily derail the beauty contest. Decently long finish. — a year ago

Heidi Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir 2015

Big - lots of whole cluster - quite fruit driven. Just 24 cases made. 13%. This will need so much more time for the fruit to mellow out. Made in honor of Grahams daughter birthday. I hope she enjoys it once she is 16 ahem. I mean 21. Quite herbaceous now. Cardamom, elderberry, celery. Not necessarily my style but this could be quite nice in years to come - made to age! — 2 years ago
