Really good reasonable wine- £12 at waitrose — 13 years ago
Not a great zin but not bad for a sipper. Probably by another. — 10 months ago
So solid, year in year out - I know they make a ton of this, and yes it’s at Costco, but when you’re looking for a reliable Zin, this is it. Bordering on being too fruit forward - this barely checks the box for secondary aromas & flavors. Balanced harmonious with intermediate aging potential. Try to find their single vineyard offerings. — 2 years ago
Bold, jammy California Zin. — 6 years ago
Top year 904 @ £75 that was drank in Zalto burg glass as its like an aged burgundy
🐽 Paired w/ Iberian Ham 😍
🍷 Garnet ruby w/ brick
👃 Smoked burnt oak, soggy earthy leaves, leather, dark cherry & figs w/ balsamic & damson
👄 Med body of creamy stewed cherry w/ earthy balsamic & slight mocha
🎯 Med finish of above w/ earthy balsamic linger
Reaching peak but I preferred the 95 904 over this but the 890 94 was better than the 95! — 9 years ago

Taking one for the community & testing the latest release @ £115 - liking the newly embossed bottles 😁 Obviously don't drink until 2020+
🍇 85% Cab S & 15% Cab F
💨 10 hr
🍷 Dark ruby
👃 Finessed gorgeous aromas of violet, black berries, red cherry, smoke, sweet cedar & herbs w/ spice, earth, tea & minerals 😍
👄 Med body of black berry/current w/ fine dry tannins that need time w/ black tea
🎯 Med dry black/red fruits & black tea
Loaded w/ potential just lighter than the 09/11/12 more like 10/13 👍 — 9 years ago

Pass! Looks too much like Chocolate Shop. $17 / 88pts — 13 years ago
Medium ruby garnet, quite thin garnet terracotta rim . Quite rich , with ripe red fruits , some tobacco , warm spiciness , cigar box , ripe cassis , sous bois , after a while touch of coffee. On the palate this also shows good roundness with ripe red and dark fruits, cassis , red plum , grafite , touch of earthiness . Balanced acidity and rounded sweet tannin . Quite juicy with a grafite edged finish . Pretty good length. This is at peak now . For now and over the next 5 -8 years. Quite generous and showy , ripe but balanced, a good showing. — 10 months ago

We enjoyed this Zin a lot. Tasting notes include all spice, floral, and strawberries. It’s potent with 15% alcohol. Paired well with dark chocolate and honey/garlic pork chops. — 7 years ago
This is good stuff. Reminds me of some Turley bottlings, in Tegan’s style. Vibrant red fruit on the nose, a hint of mint, dried figs, tinged earth and brown sugar. The palate has some crunchy red raspberry fruit, dried florals, vibrant acidity. Needs some air, but when it opens up, she sings. This is the kind of zin I like - well balanced, not overtly jammy, but with the personality and fruit to lure you in for more. — 8 years ago
Very good zin — 9 years ago
100% Zin. Rich with plum, mocha and blackberry notes. Classic style of Zin with high alcohol but enough fruit and acidity to keep from going over the top — 9 years ago
Full bodied Zin
Chocolate covered black fruit.

End of my Broc holiday shipment. Light and very tart zin. Blackberry, plum, and craisins. A bit of earthy spiciness, and faint char on the nose. 12.5% abv. With Gouda and mini toasts. One last indulgence before going back to the daily grind. — 8 months ago
