From the fruit hailing from Lodi Ca, this wine has dark juicy mid-ripe plums, smooth silky tannins, vanilla overtones, freshly ground pepper and a meatyness that is reminiscent of a medium-rare grilled ribeye.

2013 is interesting. Seemed restrained on the nose considering the producer... but a candy-ass palate. Would be great with some sticky BBQ
