Go for it! You will not regret it. — 6 months ago
Chocolatey, leathery mouth feel with mainly dark cherry from a fruit perspective. A tiny little spice on the back with a touch of nutmeg. Paired well with Goulash Di Manzo (short rib stew over polenta with mushrooms). — 6 months ago

Smoke and earth, good fruit and little tannins. Delicious! — 2 years ago
Silky smooth and love the design and references in the name! Superb vino — 5 years ago
This is prime. Some red stone fruits in here, like plum, along with dark cherries, are really dominant. There is a good spice level, nice vanilla, and a freshness that I wasn’t expecting. Great medium body with medium tannic structure. Could keep aging for another half decade at least. — 4 months ago

Possibly my favorite sweet wine to date— delicious, vibrant flavor and a perfect desert wine! — 10 months ago
A steal for the price. — 5 years ago
Love the nose. Deep, sweet/sour cherry, loads of sweet, pungent minerality, meadow flowers. In the mouth it’s still very youthfully vigorous, with a deep initial whack of zingy, pure, concentrated cherry, but then it tightens up as the crisp acids and the sneaky tannins make an entrance. This will improve over the next few years but is really fine now. — 3 months ago
The 2013 vintage enjoyed Classic cool weather, and the 2013 San Polo reveals what old time Brunellos were like prior to global warming. It is medium bodied, colorful, with persistent fruit and underbrush aromatics; flavorsome, balanced, crisp and energetic with refined tannins. Lovely wine. — 4 months ago
A birthday pour with pizza. — 10 months ago
Serious Super Tuscan expression. Massive nose. Black Cherry and boysenberry seem to meld together. Hints of vanilla and lavender too with Italian spice. . A complete mouthful. Medium acidity and tannins falling into place. An absolute joy to consume. — 4 years ago

continuing in the vein of unusual Italian wines, we thoroughly enjoyed this 10 yr old Teroldego from Tuscany of all places: pouring a deep rich ruby, partially opaque with copious quantities of red fruit on the nose, some dark berried fruit as well, licorice, dirt & soil, peppery goodness some dried herbs and so on. complex and engaging, med bodied on palate, more fruit & spice, fleshy mild tannins and smooth finish - other than color, not showing its age. — 2 months ago
