This is brut zero rose.
The aromatic nose shows pink grapefruit, strawberry, lime, light yeast, and hint of ginger. The palate is vivacious yet poised with round acidity, not something I expected from brut zero. Gentle persistent mousses.
Blend of PN and chard with 60 months on lees. Rocche dei Manzoni was the first winery (and one of the few) from Langhe to produce sparkling wine in tradition method. — 2 years ago
Medium ruby garnet , quite narrow terracotta rim . Quite aromatic , sous bois , dried rose , some spice , truffle . On the palate this is lean in style , with some dried rose , red fruits , liquorice and mint . Quite dry , gritty tannin , balanced acidity . Medium length , liquorice, dried rose finish . Drinking well now and over the next 5-8 years . — 9 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 2019 “Primanebbia” pours garnet color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with an insane nose of wild forest strawberries, raspberries, roses, curaçao, fresh sage, old wood and gentle mix of cool and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. Probably the greatest Langhe Nebbiolo I’ve had to-date. Drink now through 2039. Thanks for the assist @Lyle Fass — 2 months ago

Though oak is a bit too prominent this is a wonderful showing for the 99. At peak I’d say. Dense fruit, depth, balance, finish with terrific tertiary notes of classic tar, smoke, leather. Excellent. — 19 days ago
