Im Weingebirge Federspiel Grüner Veltliner 2017

Really excellent. Restrained and tense. 12%. Minerals, some citrus and white fruit, some smokiness. Wonderful cut. — a month ago

Steinriesler Wachau Riesling 2007

Crazy good. Petrol, Dill, ground cherry, lemon, lime, white pepper, dried herbs, Darjeeling tea, orange blossom, orange oil, jasmine.
Finish goes on for minutes. Dry, complex, exactly what you want in a wine

Federspiel Riesling 2019

Nice pear, grapefruit and stone. Full bodied but good acid. Didn’t totally come together on the finish for some reason. Ostensibly low alcohol but still getting a bit of it on the back end — 2 years ago

On the way more herbaceous and white pepper side. Fruit hard to find. Compelling wine for food pairing — 3 months ago

Special savory sauce. Not for everyone, but especially for me. 😋 — 5 months ago

Terrassen Wachau Grüner Veltliner

Very nice Gruner that works with a huge range of foods. A bit lush for a federspiel (12%) and somewhat lacking white pepper and watercress you would expect but a delicious wine nonetheless. — a year ago

Plenty of minerals to balance this Reisling. Easy to drink and could pair with anything. Fish dinner was especially elevated. — 8 months ago
