Paired nicely with tuna steak. Nice and refreshing to drink in Florida while the sun is still out. Bottle description: white blend marries the crisp, honeyed citrus fruit of chenin blanc(80%) with the soft floral and juicy peach notes of viogner (20%). Interesting white. — 2 years ago
Paired well with our take out and family game night. Nice finish. — 6 years ago

Okay - fine. It’s a good, probably great wine. Overpriced? Yes. Opus is filled with pretentious douchbags? Double yes. But this is a well-made wine bridging a gap between Napa and Boudreaux. Dusty nose with menthol, earl grey tea, tobacco, flowers, cassis, and creamy dark fruits. It has a really nice velvety finish. — 8 years ago
Old school. Has some of that over extracted warmth but nothing compared to the Napa Valley juice from the same year. Nice leather tones. Good stuff. Will only get better with age. On the upward slope. — 9 years ago
I love this wine. For some reason it is very easy on my digestive system unlike many others. It has a nice price point as well. — 11 years ago
Very nice pinot noir but not traditional by pinot standards. Very clean and complex. Layers of great berry fruit and spice. Interesting textures. Very pleasant finish. — 11 years ago
Nice long legs, dark purplish color hints of cherry and coco and nice balance from the American oak soften tannins but still a full body — 8 months ago
Blend of 74% Zinfandel, 15% Petite Sirah, 9% Carignane & 2% Mataro, aged in 100% air-dried American oak (10% new). Deep Ruby color with aromas of berry fruits, tobacco and earthy spices. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with black pepper, tobacco, citrus spice and a touch of earthy herbs. Fine grainy tannins, long finish ending with fruit, earthy spice and some cedar. Nice! — 3 years ago
The Clark & Telephone Vineyard PN gave me a long lasting impression, and this Las Alturas is very similar in style in its richness and intensity.
Ripe plum, blackberry jam, eucalyptus, fig, black tea, and Chinese medicinal herbs bursting on the nose. Palate has more texture and a more elegant feel with dark chocolate and spice. Firm and a bit dusty tannins. This tastes more like a blend of Zinfandel and Cab. Nice! But again this is not the type of PN I like. — 7 years ago
Really nice. Red currant, spicy, herbaceous and some oak. — 10 years ago
To fruity to be a 9.0, but close. Spicy finish is very nice but passes quickly. Strong and pleasant on the nose. Definitely worth a try. 2013 vintage. — 10 years ago
Very nice Cab for the price. Another fine vintage from winemaker Joseph Carr. Thanks for the memory! — 11 years ago
Flight 2 , wine 1 . Quite deep garnet , less terracotta rim . This had a whiff of oxidation about it at first which seemed to somewhat dissipate with time . Some dark spiced fruits , liquorice and menthol hints , cedar and sous bois . On the palate good ripeness and spiced dark cherry hints . Good acidity and rounded tannin . Nice length also , offering some spiced black fruits and menthol hints . Don’t think this is a pristine bottle but was enjoyable none the less , I was unsure at first if this was Napa , but coming back to it … and reading my notes , it became quite obvious . However I had this down as the Ch Montelena , not the Dominus — 8 months ago
Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, plum, spice, leather, and chocolate. On the palate, mirrors the nose. Full body, not nearly the same complexity or lengthy finish as the grand reserve, but a nice value wine. — 9 months ago
Very pleasant, soft tannins nice fruit. — 2 years ago
Very nice. A full tannin finish. — 5 years ago
Nice Cabernet. Not expensive. Light tannins clear after opening — 9 years ago
Has become a favorite! Nice currant taste, smooth — 9 years ago
Very nice red blend. Many layers of flavor and a nice finish. As usual Bogle does not disappoint. — 11 years ago
One of the best discoveries. Goes well with almost anything. Nice finish. — 12 years ago
"Odedi"
Ruby in color with a wide reddish/brick rim.
Fruit forward on the nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing sweet cherries, raspberries, blueberries, black currants, plums, chocolates, light oak, earth, cola, herbs, spices, light vanilla, licorice, peppercorn and tobacco leaf.
Nice tangy finish with soft tannins.
This 6-year-old Zinfandel blend from Sonoma County is drinking at its peak. Spicy and fruit forward. Elegant and juicy.
Great right out of the bottle, but even better after a few hours of air, when the complexity really comes to life.
The alcohol is very nicely integrated by now. Easy drinking and nicely balanced. A great sipping wine.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
