Medium ruby color. Aromas and flavors of red cherry, raspberry and strawberry. Touches of tomato leaf, rose petals and violets. Hints of wet stones and freshly turned soil on the bright finish. Silky texture. Rich and elegant. Punches well above its price. Thank You Chris B! — 2 years ago

A 25 year old gem pulled by Joel Peterson himself. I was one of the lucky ones to snag a mixed case of his cellar selections from 1991-2013 for BD16. Still going strong with such incredibile fruit. Gonna share them of course but sneak a Coravin taste here and there … — 4 months ago

Light, fruity, balanced. Acidity is moderate, tanins are low and unactive. Nice. Don't wait too much, but really nice as a better table wine accompanying meats, duck, pasta. — 4 months ago
Nice but not sure it was quite worth the $40. Gave it 5 hours of bottle open air and that helped, but it ideally needs several more years to really come into its own. There is very nice fruit, and good acid - but the tannins are a bit chunky and unresolved at this point. One to wait on for sure. — 4 months ago

Very dense and black in colour. These wines always remind me of Fruit and Nut milk chocolate. The colour makes you think full bodied but it’s actually light to medium bodied. A luscious mouth filling palate with the savoury milk chocolate together with notes of raisin and date. Supple yet persistent tannins. Reminiscent of a Priorat Garnacha in some respects. — 9 months ago
