Deep dark cherry. Orange zest. Earthy and rustic. Classic. But the wine lacks anything special where i would say wow. Wine oxidizes within 2 hours so air does not make a difference. So I will drink these bottles up. Note these wines needed to be aged for 15 years to develop. — 7 months ago
Highly recommended by sommelier to go with sole. Very smooth, citrus notes, — 2 years ago

Exceptional. Top 5 across all Bojo and tops of a great lineup from Burgaud. — 5 years ago
Initial aroma very sweet (caramel, toffee) and red fruits. Extremely long and intense finish for such a young wine. 30 mins after opening became somewhat leathery.
Passed the key test of our rating system - I couldn’t stop drinking it! 👍🏼 — 4 months ago

A little farmyardy on opening, but still some pleasure in this forgotten oldie from the cellar when it opened up… — 8 months ago
"Slow Decanted" this white burgundy with the Vinloq System
DAY 1
👃Lemon/underripe pineapple with stony minerals/black pepper. Vivid
👅Glorious minerality from start to finish.
Lemony fruit takes a back seat to the minerality but there is plenty to provide balance. Great structure, very nice acidity, and a slightly oily texture. All bright and crisp
The remaining burgundy was Slow Decanted in my refrigerator
DAY 10
👃Minerals lead on the vivid nose with lemons in the background. Less flinty minerality than day 1
👅Lemon fruit followed by minerality coming on at the black pepper finish. Structure, acidity, and oily texture continue. Concentrated. Classy and well put together
The 2014 Morgeot Les Fairendes is going strong and was powerful and refined on DAYS 1 and 10.
No reason this cannot continue to improve based on the great overall balance

Unique barnyardy aroma. Hibiscus. Super drinkable; especially in the humidity. Almost like a wild ale. Can’t wait to pick up another bottle. — 4 years ago
Generous fruit with less than expected cut. — 5 years ago

Domaine Marc Portaz – Apremont 2021
Vin de Savoie AOC – Savoie, France 🇫🇷
Overview
Made from 100% Jacquère, this white comes from the alpine slopes near Chambéry. Apremont is one of the most famous crus of Savoie, known for producing crisp, mineral-driven wines that reflect their high-altitude terroir and limestone soils.
Aromas & Flavors
Delicate white flowers, green apple, lemon zest, and a touch of mountain herbs. Light, citrus-driven palate with a flinty minerality that lingers.
Mouthfeel
Lean, bright, and bone-dry, with zippy acidity and a refreshing, alpine finish. A classic mountain white—clean and precise.
Food Pairing
Perfect with fondue Savoyarde, raclette, lake fish (like perch or trout), or alpine charcuterie.
Verdict
A textbook Jacquère that delivers purity and freshness. Proof that alpine terroir wines can punch far above their weight in elegance and drinkability.
Personal Highlight
Enjoyed this bottle in Lausanne, Switzerland, where French alpine wines often sit side-by-side with Swiss Chasselas. A reminder of how borders blur when it comes to great alpine whites. Cheers! — 3 months ago
