Bouquet of fresh black pepper, aloe Vera, very earthy. Much more fruit forward on the palate, all plum with a lingering earthy finish (mushroom perhaps?). Had with a dinner of San Francisco style chioppino, heavy on the tomato and citrus.

A little to spicy for me. Not a bad blend though.

Very nice, reasonably priced wine. Blackberry and black pepper flavors with a touch of plum make this a perfect table wine.
