2014 vintage.

I always love Loire Valley Cabernet Franc, with it's ruby core and purplish rim. This is a traditional style if not a little light on the nose and palate. The red fruit balances out the herbacious bell peppery notes well and neither the acid nor the tannins dominate. It's a fairly good representation of old world cab franc.

Big cab franc. Showing big fruit with enough herbaceousness to balance it out. May take a couple years to bloom but drinks great now

Quintessential Cab Franc with tobacco leaf, and pencil lead notes. Needs more time to develop complexity. Tasted 2012.

Black pepper, blackberry jam, gravel, tons of roses, bit of smoke, bit of stem. Palate is less ripe than the nose, finish is fleeting.

Elegant and pretty wine, shows cab franc hallmarks with a delicate and charming personality. Delicious, and a great value at this price point. Highly recommended.

Great texture and juiciness with just enough seriousness. Herbs, spice, tomato.

Classic Chinon. Gravel, rose buds, smoke, and blackberrys with a tight acidic edge. Shorter yet memorable finish.
