2014 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 2 hours at approx 62 degrees. Medium-medium heavy body. Plenty of honey/mead texture and flavors along with golden, slightly overripe apple + a little finishing spice flourish. Decent acidity at that temp and wanted to chill some down to the mid-50's to reevaluate but ran out of road. Better luck next time. 05.30.25. — 3 months ago

Not really a whisky drinker, but I can appreciate this Scotch. Very woodsy and dry. Cedar with orange bitters, and oaky vanilla bean. Clean fresh finish, with a long lasting Szechuan pepper tingle and wood chips towards the end. 14 yr single malt. — 4 months ago

Very light salmon pink taking on that orange hue. Aromatics are orange blossom, hibiscus, and lemon grass with some vanilla tying them neatly together. Flavor is citrus fruit and creamsicle with a brief stop on the mid palate for some tannins and then a sharp cleansing acidity. Goes very well with an elote risotto with chipotle chicken. — 12 days ago
