Amazing!!!

This is in such an enjoyable spot at the moment, full of dried fruits and tertiary notes, this is medium bodied, fine and resolved tannin, with med+ aroma and flavor intensity. Fruit that tastes partially dried but has some primary character, cassis, currants and black cherry mingle with mint and baking spice notes, subtle notes of oak weave seamlessly into the bouquet and palate. Finishes med+.

Held up well 30 years later.

January 2023. A Karen MacNeil “wine you should try” from 2022. Enjoyed w/ KK & C. Stewed red fruit, baking spice, leather. So good! Still vibrant at almost 30 years old.

I still can’t believe how good this is tasting. Tons of all types of pepper, black, white, green, with a great tart cherry, plum, currant flavor and leather. Unbelievable!

No formal notes. Barnyard. Mellow, leathery, cherries, smoke.

This is amazing! Really changed over an hour of air. Actually tasted more fresh. Cherries, leather, dried herbs, flowers, tons of pepper, plums. I’d love to try this in a blind tasting of aged Napa and Bordeaux. Right now I’m impressed for 49 dollars.

Very very interesting. Cab from Portugal, aged in concrete. Full fruit expression, has more Merlot and Bordeaux qualifies then can. Great fruit, not over powering. Really really like. Changes throughout the bottle. $100 at Bell’s

Dry burnt cherries, great balance and soft tannins.
