They are the King’s of Champagne for a reason.
Beautiful mousse. Both yellow & white stone fruits, tropicals, lime & lemon zest/pulp, green & red apple, cream to whipped cream, ginger skin, grey volcanics-limestone minerals, white spice, taunt chalk, baguette crust, sea fossils/foam, white spring flowers, yellow lilies, excellent acidity, balance, structure, tension & elegance for days with a finish that ends balanced on fruit & minerality.

Muscadet doesn’t get much better than this. Lemon zest, tart green apple, tons of wet rock, screaming acidity. So good. — 2 years ago
Grapefruit and lemon. Great Sauvignon and for under $15. This is going to rock during the summer — 8 years ago
Impressive body & viscosity. Rosemary, lemon peel, green banana, nice acidity — 9 years ago
Pale lemon color with aromas of ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and spice scents. On the palate complex flavors of apple, peach, pineapple and lemon citrus, well balanced with acidity on a nice mouthfeel. Long finish ending with oak, vanilla, mineral and citrus notes, will continue to age. A beautiful Chardonnay. Pair this with a Swordfish steak topped with balsamic roasted tomatoes. — a year ago
Based on day 2. I really enjoyed this as it opened up. Great texture with lemon curd, stone fruit, marzipan and lively acidity. So well balanced. — a year ago
Fresh, light gold. Bright and vibrant in the glass. Even more vibrant in the nose. Exotic, notes of lemon peel, wet river stone, petrol, slate, apricot and spice. Great rich fruit matches some impactful acidity. Long finish. This is great juice, still young, and has some more to give down the road. — 8 years ago
Smooth, lemon zest, refreshing, citrus. — 10 years ago
Cali sunshine in a glass! Key lime pie, lemon curd, beeswax, touch of tropical fruit. Lively acidity. — 11 years ago
Not getting a ton on the nose. Maybe some slight lemon and white flowers.
Good fruit flavor but also overpowering acidity.
Lemons, citrus, slight stone fruit but not a ton.
Good. Feel like because there’s no to little malo, the natural acid stays top. — a year ago
A fantastic nose. Intense lemon, cool slate, an oiliness. Surprisingly oaky on the palate. Lovely balance and freshness but a few more years to let that oak settle and this should be amazing — a year ago
Green gold and lemon sour....not much nose but then the tart mid-palate and sharp acid finish roll in and bring the wine some serious gravitas. I love the “old world” aspect of this green apple/not-quite ripe pear tinged wine.No noticeable oak and a long, grippy finish. — 7 years ago
The nose on this baby is petrol all the way. Golden color adds to the excitement. The wine has electric acidity, lemon rind and honeyed apricots. A strong mineral core to this wine also lends structure. The finish is niceat 45 seconds. The only thing missing is a little more bottle age. This baby could have used a few more years to let the tertiary flavors develop. With the acidity in the bottle I would wait at least another decade if patient. Definitely a wine for next summit. @Ted Corvey @Kyle Harvey — 9 years ago

Pale lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and herb notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach, melon and lemon citrus zest, with notes of honey and herbs. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, balanced acidity and floral mineral character. — 9 months ago
