Not what I expected i assumed elegance and was surprised that it was so full of fruit at this age. Another 5 yrs would help but right now it so pleasurable. — 5 months ago
Probably still a little young, but otherwise a really great bottle. Dark transparent ruby, with a woody-er edge to it. Some cherry pie, herbs, baking spices and tar aromas. Strong structure, making it feel young. Pretty large body for an Oregon Pinot! Going to age well for awhile. — 7 months ago
Sweet and balanced. — 9 months ago
Note, in 2019 hail cut yields by 40%, Deep Ruby with concentrated aromas of ripe dark fruits and spices. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with leather, licorice and smoky herb notes. Fine tannins, hints of oak on medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and earthy mineral tones. Nice! — 3 years ago
Had this at Carretta on the Gulf with the Huyck’s. — 4 years ago
Decanted for about 2-3 hours before serving. Incredible nose and flavor profile. Very gamey. Lots of stewed fruit. Little medicinal. But came through and paired exceedingly well with lamb kebabs.
Had a little funk as it aired out but really sang at hour 4-5. Good grip. Will be excited to open the next one — 4 months ago
Faint fuscia and apricot on the nose, fruity on the palate. Medium full body. Delightful. — 5 months ago
Acid, beautiful — 9 months ago
For the price, this presented strong performance, but lacked depth, complexity and power you experience with the delas les bessards. Cool black fruits and well judged oak create a very classy drinking experience. This was relatively tame and had a powerful yet weightless elegance in the palate. — 7 months ago
Terra orca is right! The earth is coming at me and I’m seeing red. But not the red of fury, the red of passion, the red of pleasure, and the red of desire. One sip of this and desire for the pleasure of passion from this wine endures. The palate parties with minerals. — 4 years ago
2018 base. 4 grams dosage and disgorged 4/22. Nose is all wet earth and yeast. Lemon peel, toast, citrus (tangelo?) skin as well. Really nice, layered and complex aromas. Lonely, mineral and tree bark aromas as well. Palate is juicy and clean with explosive lemon and grapefruit citrus fruit and terrific purity and freshness. Good sap and very clean. Needs air as I reckon this has more to tell. Nose gets some saline as well with air and the palate becomes juicier. It’s very good but so far not special. Really has good palate presence. — 5 months ago

Pinot Munier as the major grape. Smooth, Julie likes — 9 months ago
Budget friendly Cru Beaujolais (Brouilly). Vivid light ruby color. Intense nose of earth, smoke, purple flowers, wet stones and red berries. Just a touch of Brett. Pallet is full of lush and juicy red and blue fruit. Hint of baking spices. Gentle texture and extremely soft tannins. Bright! — 3 years ago
Well that might the best $24 I spent. Couldn’t pass up a late vintage release. — 4 years ago
