I've gotten to the point where Pinot is incredibly hit or miss for me. What a finicky little grape. This is a hit — 2 years ago
I occasionally have a wine with my wife that is so superior that I regret a lot of the scores I've given over l other bottles. This is such a wine. Absolutely the best domestic Jura style wine I've ever had. My only real complaint is I was capped out on my allocation. — 2 years ago
Austere and elegant like an old Catholic matriarch. Dry on the palate, with soft aromas of cherry and vanilla. It pops with tart stone fruit up front, and lingers with leather and tobacco and faint baking spice. Pairs excellently with chicken, Parks and Recreation, and popcorn. — 2 years ago
I have a Frasier Crane-like love of sherry, so obviously I adored this vin jaune; I just wish it weren't $200. My wife and I drank this with a phenomenal paella and pan con tomate. Special little lunch. — 2 years ago
