Did not expect a basic chablis to be so full-bodied yet balanced. It was a perfect match for roasted chicken with a tarragon mustard slurry. Purchase for $25 in March 2022. — 4 months ago

Very nice Pinot. Good cherry notes and a little earthy. Paired well with a beef stew — a month ago
Lime and citrus notes with saline notes. Inspired by a recent note @Ira Schwartz about a delicious Chablis he had. Oak has been thoroughly absorbed. I haven’t had many Chablis from Les Clos but lived up to its exalted status. See previous Delectable note. Great with fresh Pacific Oysters. — 4 months ago

Nose: concentrated dark fruits, violets, pepper stems?
Taste: all the above, plus some mushroom umami
Light tannins, lovely lively wine — 10 hours ago
