TSWC. Very enjoyable drinking which also didn’t mind being slightly warm — 10 months ago
2012 tasting great. Solid dark fruits, nice balance. — 3 years ago
Really incredible wine. Not paired with any food, the wine is flavorful, quenching w/ oak flavor adding the right dryness and notes of plum & vanilla to finish - really well balanced and opened well. Bottled was empty far too quickly : ) — 4 years ago
One of my favorite California Right Bank Bordeaux Blends. Cherry, earthy, mushroom. Beautifully balanced. — 6 years ago
Sushi and Champagne is one of my favorite combinations. Indeed, almost all celebrations that @Cara Zimmerman and I enjoy together will include this duo. This was somewhat of a step up from our norm as Sushi Zo is a world apart from our usual delivery order of tuna and salmon rolls (with free edamame). Likewise this 1975 DP was rather more elevated than our weekly fizz.
Dark golden color with rich, brioche and mature elements. A touch too advanced but enormously attractive and retaining terrific purity and energy. Sushi and Champagne has rarely been such a treat. — 8 years ago
Outstanding Chardonnay but a bit pricey! — 9 years ago
Lovely Cabernet expression, balance, weight and length. Acidity lets this one down but very enjoyable none the less. — 10 years ago

Golden , orange tinged centre , lemon yellow rim . Very aromatic, clementines, orange rind , saffron , creme brûlée , caramel. On the palate rich and intense but with very good balance from fresh acidity . Orange syrup , saffron creme brûlée with a slight burnt caramel touch on the finish . Long and powerful , this is ready but will carry on at this level for another 10-20 years — 8 months ago
Excellent Chardonnay! No Malo. — 10 months ago
Classic CS but undistinguished — 2 years ago
This is just ridiculous. Act 7. Tastes of deep figs/plums up front as if grandma just baked a pie in your mouth. Finished smooth with a tiny bit of spice and more jams that make you want to cry. More of this please. — 5 years ago
QF81 - Beautiful soft with loads of depth. — 7 years ago
A five hour decant. Dark cherry and blueberries with a rub of minerals and tobacco. Just awesome — 8 years ago
Dry and Smokie. Has subtle black licorice like flavor (plumb, blackberries, mocha and vanilla). Did I mention this wine is dry... In a good way. — 9 years ago
Very good easy drinking wine for a good price. — 10 years ago
Had this at Car Talk night. Peter picked it — 8 months ago
Golden with sweet notes of brooches and toast. On the bud, it’s creamy with a slight tartness. — 9 months ago
Unscrew and pour yesterday. Noted from 24 hrs open. Fantastic PQR. Lovely meyer lemon and soft mango notes, some oak-influenced vanilla, but very stylish. On the palate: lovely acidity, soft slate, good density and a juicy finish. At the garagiste price of about 27 bucks, this is leaning in the case buy direction. Yum. — 3 years ago

Stage 2 of #tourdefrance 2019. Finishing up our time in Belgium with a classic. Rich and creamy with full body and malty flavor. — 6 years ago
First dance with British bubbles, not Champagne but pretty damn close. Very good structure and acid. Over priced when you compare it to NV Champs. But The region is now on my radar and I am looking forward to things to come. — 7 years ago
Complex flavor, spicy yet smooth — 8 years ago
Nicely balanced Shiraz with notes of blackberry, vanilla, oak and a herbal. — 9 years ago

At my Chardonnay Challenge of 6 wines with very close scores the Heytesbury finished 6th. I still gave it 95 points and a Gold Medal. HH said “powerful grapefruit and citrus - Gingin/Mendoza clones and 97 points “. A semi regular annual purchase for me. Had my 2nd last bottle 31 weeks later on 11th April 2025. Still holding up - delicious, funky and a class act. Still strong citrus and grapefruit and a smoky note. — 8 months ago
