Hazelnuts and green apple. Great everyday champagne — 4 years ago
Single vineyard "Les Belles Voyes" in the famous Grand Cru hillside of Oger. Pale lemon with fine creamy mousse and tiny rapid bubble flow, long lees aging. aromas stone fruits and blossom, bread dough and citrus. On the palate flavors of golden apple, peach, lemon citrus and honeysuckle with biscuit toast and nutty notes. Long finish, full-body ending with biscuit, mineral and citrus character. Outstanding! — 5 years ago
Paired nicely with smoked quail egg that was marinated with wine.

Consistency is their middle name.
This has just started to shift from fresh to aging.
Bruised red apple/pear, lemon, lime zest, tropical melons, drier stone fruits, whipped cream, ginger, brioche, graham cracker, very light caramel/butterscotch notes, grey volcanics, limestone marl, sea fossils, gritty chalk, white & yellow flowers with greens, excellent lively acidity and a well balanced-knitted, elegant & smartly polished finish that lasts near two-minutes. — 9 months ago

Very good Brut BdeB. Green apple, lemon, flowers, fine but strong bubbles and solid enough to go with food. Escalope de fois de canard, legumes d'ete au satay, Lieu jaune, chorizo iberique con case ecume de lait, a la nepita. — 11 years ago

#Remembrance #Love 6/25.
Sofia loved Penguins. We played w/ them in Dubai and she also skied indoor while I had a spot of Champagne and watched from a very big window. Only in Dubai. They have to build things of that nature…cus w/o them…just a bunch of sand. — 2 years ago
From a half bottle. Popped and poured; no formal notes. Persistent mousse. Lovely notes of white peach, pear, brioche and chalky minerals. Super well balanced. Gimonnet rarely disappoints. A multi-vintage blend from 2010-2019. Disgorged May 31, 2021. Dosage 6 g/L. — 4 years ago
A bit disappointing compared to the prior versions. Light, creamy mouth feel, very low lees notes but the mineral precision is not quite there — 6 years ago
Solid. No fireworks but fine stuff. — 7 years ago
Bright citrus acid initially. Then a mid palate and finish of bread and yeast. Lingers a bit. Very enjoyable. — 9 years ago
Nice champagne, not heavily bubbled. Tart fruit initially followed by a nice yeast. — 10 years ago
