Slightly cloudy garnet ruby core . Some herbal and slightly funky undergrowth , dried red fruits, dried mushroom , tobacco and dried spices, touch medicinal also. On the palate still some fruit , dried red cherry, those sous bois notes , rose and spice , liquorice . Balanced acidity, noticeable slightly angular tannin. Ok length with just a touch of warmth , slightly smoky finish . This is mature and should be drunk as I don’t see it improving. Drink Now and next 5 years . — 3 months ago

Hell yea.
About an hour after opening - my astounded thought to myself: this must be the platonic ideal of ‘razor sharp precision’. Just an astounding, and absolutely delicious wine. — 6 months ago

No notes. Beef jerky & dark cherries, on nose & palate. Thinner concentration I had hoped for, but suspect age, air and/ or long decant will bring it together — 3 months ago

Very much on the dark, earthy, minerally side. So dark and full of smoky ember crushed stone that I’d almost be tempted to place it half-way around the world in Walla Walla. Palate is rich and dark, a highlights more savory minerally notes than fruit. Distinctive and good but not a typical fruity Crozes. — 6 months ago

@very faint taste & super light on the tongue — 3 months ago
Cherry, violet, hay, a tiny touch of licorice too. This is quite exciting and profound. The palate is showing a massive acid backbone, some width and grip, some cherry notes, but the fruit is a little discreet. There are tannins popping up in the rear, disturbing the mouthfeel, powering up a tangy finish with cherry and a nice bitter note along with a tiny salty touch, almost sea breezesque if that makes sense. This is a serious beaujo, very different from fruit bombs and other crowd-pleasing usual expressions that people tend to rave about. This is gastronomy wine and playing in the same league as some other wines from a different varietal that grow a bit farther to the north. — 4 months ago
Red fruit, lovely in the mouth — 5 months ago
A bit fizzy and sweet at first taste, with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Paired well with Chinese food! — 6 months ago

Drinking pretty well for such a young Chablis.
Mouthfeel is nicely round & creamy. Ripe, Meyer Lemon, green apple, pineapple, lime pulp with some skin, topical melons, guava, chalky power, saline, sea fossils, limestone, touch of caramel, hint of white spice on the long set, yellow & white spring flowers, cool, round acidity, nicely balanced and well polished finish that last nearly two-minutes landing squarely on white spice.
A conversation was shared with me from Ralph at K&L who has been there 40 plus years that he had with their Burgundy buyer who just returned from his market trip to Burgundy. Ralph asked him what vintage he would compare the 2022 Burgundy vintage to. His reply was, the only vintage I could compare 2022 to is 1959! That’s a huge statement. — 2 months ago
