Yang Yang ! Toasted Bitter almonds, hazelnuts, caramels, bitter dark chocolate, cedar but also mineral salty and flowers. Border line brandy that will please bourbons and whiskies drinkers alike…. Complex and fascinating ! Served chill and make sure no one bothers you for a while … A treat for serious #gozones … If you happen to smoke premium cigars, this is next level! — 3 years ago

Rich tannins, some sense of red berries, terroir, earthy - great for the price! — a year ago
Enjoyed this somewhat exotic wine. Recommended by a sommelier at a wine shop. Apparently the grape was assumed extinct for 400 years until it was discovered growing on someone’s property in the 1980s. Taste is akin to a Nebbiolo. Blueberry and blackberry on the nose. Bright berries with balanced acidity and dryness. Would love to have again. — 2 years ago

One of the most unique finos I've ever had. Intriguing nose that calls to mind intense white burgundy like Leflaive or PYCM.

Da bomb, for sherry lovers: Palo Cortado versión. Burnt pine cone & toffee bits, a subtle mushroom thing (oyster?), & a rather trim beef bouillon broth lurking on the back end. That may all be bs but it’s a wine that inspires….. — 2 years ago
Excellent balance. Sherry heaven. — 7 years ago
Exceptional single-vineyard Manzanilla. Bone dry with an agile depth and weight. After 12-14 years in the solera this has a nearly endless finish. Aged manchego, chorizo, Andalusian tripe - versatile and dramatically lovely — 7 years ago
