What a beautiful juicy wine! A tad funky but a lovely flavor all around. — 5 years ago
Even better than côte du py in this vintage. Crazy cherry on the nose, iron too, earth, crazy barnyard notes too. The palate is a yummy mix between a big acid backbone, different layers of fruits and textures, firm tannins, and a finish with cherry and a terroir twist. A master piece. — 7 years ago

Color : Red
Wine estate : Bernard Dugat-py
Designation : Burgundy
Name : Bourgogne
Country : France
Vivino : 4/5
Note : Non-Filtered Burgundy, do not forget to return the bottle before tasting to avoid unpleasant surprises 😉
With its red robe, we are on a typical Burgundy nose with aromas of flowers, strawberries and slightly woody. A correct length.

Never would have guessed a Bourgogne if tasted blind. Complex weighty nose of ripe red fruits and earthy notes and autumn leaves though palate a bit more acidic than expected. That profile carried through to finish. 16 years and still drinking well. Great with Amahs ribs — 4 years ago
Fresh raspberry, cherry, mineral and violet notes on the nose. Bright acidity and crunchy tannins. Leaner and more angular than the Côte Du Py but still silky. Wish I would’ve held on to it longer as the finish was a bit disappointing. Will improve with age. — 5 years ago
Unmistakably Foillard, in magnum. Delicious, fast-drinking gamay from the Cote du Py. Great stuff, near impossible to find — 6 years ago
Nice and fresh, another bottle proving 2016 is better than 2015 to my palate in Beaujolais. — 7 years ago
Recommended Value purchase here. Did not disappoint. Solid structure. Nice rounded berry tones. Def but again for price — 7 years ago
