Last had this almost 3 years ago. The years have been good - this is in a very nice place. A decant still helps for sure, but the red fruited aromas leap from the glass here. The tannins are surprisingly still quite present on the palate, but the fruit acid balance is excellent. Very nice and a great pairing with kinderhook farms pork chops in a Chinese marinade.

The type of Beaujolais that makes you less sad about burgundy prices. With a solid 1+ decant and a proper chill, really nice. Still a bit closed aromatically, but the refined earthy fruit comes through. Excellent mouthfeel, great length, good acid. Nice wine.

Nice and fresh, another bottle proving 2016 is better than 2015 to my palate in Beaujolais.
