When Lafon is on they’re as good as any name in white Burgundy. 2012 Genevrieres is superb after sufficient air, seamlessly balanced between richness and elegance and perfectly developed wafting waves of defined fruit, pastry cream, butterscotch and toasted almonds within its layered minerality. It wraps around the palate with killer concentration and density and a massively long, silky finish. Top tier Chardonnay. — 3 months ago
17 Very Meursault, not outstanding. Vintage? — 6 months ago
Super, mellow, oxidized, buttery white burgundy. — 2 months ago
2005 drunk in 2025. Delicious even though the cork crumbled. Gorgeous color, full body, a bit grassy and green apple. — 2 months ago
Very typical way of producing. Top wine with classic elements but bever dull. Dense. Hints of tropical fruit and lemon zest. With a long….. finish. Delicate not buttery. I would not recognitie it in a blind tasting as a Meursault. Must try for Evert Burgundy lover. — 3 months ago

Nice floral complimented with lemon zest and firm acidity. Characteristics improved as we enjoyed the bottle through dinner, indicating it’s still a bit young and not quite ready for prime time. — 2 months ago
2022 vintage. Sampled from a 375ml bottle. Drinking as well as could be expected from a half bottle for village Meursault. Forward. Fruity. Decent + balance of fruit and oak. Good pricing and may pick up two cases of 375’s depending on how quickly the other two Meursault 375ml offerings go. They’ve been moving. 08.07.25. — 3 months ago

2021 vintage. Part of a portfolio tasting through 25 white/red Burgs. Some aggressive, frontal oak that mellows out a bit as it goes down. Medium/medium-heavy body. For village swill, this covers the bases quite nicely. 9.29.25 — 2 months ago
