Green gold glinting diamond. Cap smoke, toasted sesame, wildflower honey crystallized, snap pea, chive, lime racing around lemon and zesty crystal droplets stratifying aromatically. Incredible lime zest and essence over lemon verbena, lemon pastry puff, and carnation petal. Amazing in every way.

Opened about 30 minutes prior to dinner but no decant. Served slightly chilled. The 2016 “Blanche” pours a deep straw color with medium viscosity. Developing with notes of ripe stone fruit, tropical fruit, nutmeg, white pepper, minerals and cotton candy. On the palate, the wine is dry with lower acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is medium+. This is a wine of impeccable texture to match the king crab legs with dinner. Drink now through 2031. — 8 months ago

I liked the way this showed with its generous red fruit, earth, spice & floral notes — 4 months ago
Lovely smell and full mouthfeel. A real kick from the tannins to end it off (a tad too much without food). — 2 years ago

Truly one of the most singular wines in the world attaining mythical-like status, it’s wild and vibrant with a captivating strawberry-spice and floral bouquet with a deep, exceedingly elegant palate and a scintillating finish that goes on and on. Amazing wine and the most perfect summer red. — a month ago
